Food Is a Powerful Reactant
I like to think that Tastey Threads designs are mini gateways that lead to dormant memories. A few days ago I was sharing with someone that I felt we all had food memories and they said, "Food memories, what is that?" β but it wasn't so much a question as it was a bit of sarcastic dismissal.
But I'm here to tell you that food is a very powerful reactant.
The Breakfast Burrito That Started It All
I know I can't see breakfast burritos without thinking about the time I was stationed in San Antonio and walked into a Target and discovered they had a small food area where they made breakfast β and on the menu were breakfast burritos. And by making, I don't mean popping a frozen one into the microwave for five seconds.
I mean the lady took my order, then proceeded to crack eggs, add chorizo, whipped out the tortillas, and wrapped all that deliciousness in them. To this day, that was the best breakfast ever β hands down!! And that food memory evokes the same happiness I felt that morning.
That's the Magic of Our PB&Jammin' Design
You definitely won't find it stale.
What food memory does a peanut butter and jelly sandwich evoke for you? Was it a fun lunch, or maybe it was a sandwich you swapped in school for a friend's candy bar? Was it sitting in the kitchen with a loved one while having a heart to heart β or does it remind you of when you were starting out on your own and there were some lean moments where PB&J was your dinner every day that week?
Who hasn't had those moments?
These moments are unique to each and every one of us β just like our PB&Jammin' design. It's uniquely artful, playful, and definitely not boring.
Don't walk β run to shop your very own PB&J memory. For those that like their crust, there's our crewneck tee:
And for the no crust crowd, there's the sueded cotton tee:
